Animal Services Officer (Part-Time) Print






General Description of Position

The purpose of the position is to control animal populations and protect the public.  The position is responsible for enforcing laws, sheltering animals, disposing of animals, and maintaining the animal shelter.  The position works according to some procedures, but decides how and when to do things under general supervision.


Minimum Training and Experience

Requires high school diploma, GED or specialized training.  Requires over three months and up to and including six months of experience in relation to the job description.


Work Hours/Benefits

This is a temporary part time position.  Weekends only.  Saturday – 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sunday – 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.



$9.20 hourly – no benefits
