Business Personal Property
All businesses are required to file a Business Personal Property Listing Form with the Business Personal Property Division of the Assessor’s Office. You may obtain a listing form from our office or click on the Tax Listing forms link below.
If you filed a listing form the previous year, a pre-printed listing form will automatically be mailed to the last address on file. If you do not receive a listing form, and have personal property to list, it is your responsibility to obtain and complete the form.
The listing period is January 1st thru January 31st of each year. If a listing is not filed during this period and there is not a request for extension, a late list penalty will be assessed in the amount of 10%. A listing must be received or postmarked by the US Postal Service no later than January 31st, unless an extension has been requested. You can file an extension request by sending an email to
Business Personal Property consists of Machinery and Equipment, Furniture & Fixtures, Office Equipment, Computer Equipment, Leasehold Improvements, Farm Machinery, Rental Furnishings, etc. If you are unsure if your property is real or personal, please refer to our classification schedule.
