The 2010 Annual Book Sale begins Thursday, July 29 in the lower level of the Waynesville branch of the Haywood County Public Library and runs through Saturday, July 31.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Haywood County Public Library, the event features great deals on 60,000-70,000 gently-used paperback and hardcover books in all genres.

The book sale typically raises more than $30,000 for the Friends of the Library to use to support community library programs, staff education, inventory purchases and children's programs, among other things.

Genres include Fiction, Biography and History, Chidren's Books, Cook Books, Health & Fitness, How-To Manuals, Reference, Regional, Religion and Travel. Puzzles, games, and audiovisual materials are available too.

Hours for the Book Sale are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, July 30th and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, July 31st.
