The Board will meet in the HAYWOOD COUNTY COURTROOM

of the HISTORIC COURTHOUSE at 215 N. Main Street, Waynesville

beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Citizens must sign up for public comment prior to 5:20 p.m. and are limited

to three (3) minutes. Audience members may not address the Board at any time

during deliberations unless recognized by the Chairman.

                       3. Request approval of the quote from One Beacon, Government Risks, as the lowest responsive

                           bidder for property and casualty insurance for the premium to the County for Fiscal Year

                       4. Request approval of Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) County Plan and budget for

                       5. Request approval to use the balance of current year Capital Outlay, of $234,026 along with the

                           remaining budgets in the completed capital projects of $99,863, including unspent interest

                       6. Request approval of Capital Project budget amendment – HCC Project Fund - $99,863 –

                           to close the completed capital projects related to the Community College building fund, so

                           that a transfer of the funds can be used for a paving project on the college campus -

                       7. Request approval of Capital Project budget amendment – HCC Project Fund -$333,889 –

                           to set up new paving and sidewalk project for Haywood Community College, using the balance

                      8. Request approval of Change Order #2 in the amount of $38,103.34 to cover the remainder of

                          unsuitable soils removal and ground water control measures associated with site grading at the

                          Haywood County Public Services Training Facility Project to be paid from project contingency

                      9. Request approval of Capital Project budget amendment to pay for change order #2 from the

                          contingency in the capital project budget – $38,103.34 - Julie Davis, Finance Director –

                   10. Request approval of annual N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, N.C.

                         Forest Service FY16-17 Agreement for the Protection, Development and Improvement of

                         Forest Land in Haywood County, North Carolina 60% ($166,950) state and 40% county cost

                         estimated amount of $197,000 based on prior year costs for the inmate food supplies vendor

                   14. Request approval of the annual contract between Health and Human Services Agency and

                         Southwest Child Development Commission to provide child care subsidy administration in

                         the amount of $3,180,966 and $105,000 support from federal and state appropriations –

                   15. Request approval of Fiscal Year 2016-2017 federal funding for the Home & Community Care

                         Block Grant totaling $453,696, including the county match of $45,369 (10%). Balance of

                   16. Request approval of the Interlocal Agreement Between Haywood County and the Junaluska

                         Sanitary District for the installation of sewer lines on N.C. 209 with county funding of

                   17. Request approval of budget amendment to move $300,000 from contingency in the General

                         Fund to cover the amount committed to the NC 209 Corridor project as a partial match for the

                   18. Request approval of resolution for the sale of a county owned building at 2177 Asheville Road

                         to Mountain Projects Inc. for $325,000, and to provide in kind services of project
