Citizens asked to support food drive Print
News - Latest

The Letter Carriers 17th Annual Food Drive will be held Saturday, May 14. Citizens are asked to help fight hunger in our community by placing canned and boxed food at their mail boxes or by taking food to their local post office.

Postal workers will distribute the food to the Haywood Christian Ministry, the Salvation Army, the Community Kitchen and the Open Door.

On Monday, May 2, the Haywood County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution urging citizens to support the food drive. To read the resolution, click here.
