Student Gang Assessment Survey

The Juvenile Crime Prevention Council of Haywood County is conducting an assessment of gang activity in our communities.  The knowledge gained will benefit our community by providing guidance in the development of prevention and intervention strategies for reducing gang violence.

So that we can gain an understanding of the gang activity in our communities, we have been gathering the opinions of teachers, leaders and residents on their view of gang activity in our communities.  Researchers are now gathering data from students in the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th grade in Haywood County.

The link to the survey is FOR STUDENTS ONLY.  Please do not access this link unless you are in this age range and have not completed the survey.

The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.  Your responses will be recorded anonymously and the information you provide will be kept confidential.

Your participation is voluntary and greatly appreciated. Please read the information on the first page and then begin the survey.

For questions, or more information, contact Denise Teague, Gang Assessment Coordinator, at 828-226-0102.
