Part Time Heavy Equipment Operator / Solid Waste

General Description of Position

The purpose of the class is to operate heavy equipment in support of county operations.  The class is responsible for heavy equipment operations, minor maintenance, facility and area maintenance, and logs/forms.  The class works according to some procedures, but decides how and when to do things under general supervision.

Minimum Training and Experience

High School Diploma or GED.  Requires over two years of  experience.  CDL may be required.

Work Hours/Benefits

This is a Part Time position with no Benefits.  Days and hours vary.

Salary

The pay grade assigned to this position is 61 with an hourly rate of $12.56 per hour.
