Early Voting Begins April 17 Print

The opportunity for one stop early voting begins Thursday, April 17 and will continue through Saturday, May 3. However, One-Stop Voting will not be held at the Board of Elections Office this year.


Citizens who want to vote early for the May 6 primary may go by the Haywood County Temporary Administration Building at 81 Elmwood Way in Waynesville (off of Russ Avenue diagonally across from Maple Grove Methodist Church); or to the Haywood County Public Library branch at 11 Pennsylvania Ave. in Canton.


Voting times are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays through May 2 and from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 3.
