HAYWOOD COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

AGENDA FOR

April 4, 2016

The Board will meet in the HAYWOOD COUNTY COURTROOM

of the HISTORIC COURTHOUSE at 215 N. Main Street, Waynesville

beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Citizens must sign up for public comment prior to 8:50 a.m. and are limited

to three (3) minutes.  Audience members may not address the Board at any time

during deliberations unless recognized by the Chairman.

                  1.  Request for public hearing to be held on April 18, 2016 at 5:30 p.m., in the Courtroom of

                       the Haywood County Historic Courthouse for the consideration of the close out of the

                       Community Development Block Grant (CDBG project 11-C-315) received by the County

                       from North Carolina Division of Community Assistance – Ira Dove, County Manager

 

                  2.  Request for public hearing to be held on April 18, 2016 at 5:30 p.m., in the Courtroom

                       of the Haywood County Historic Courthouse for the consideration of two ordinances:

-    Reimbursement Agreements Ordinance

   (for economic development and affordable housing)

-    Emergency Management Ordinance - Ira Dove, County Manager

 

            IV.  Administrative/Agency Reports

                    Report from the Public Policy Institute at Western Carolina University with the results from

                    a telephone survey gathering public opinion about land use planning within Haywood County –
