Council of Governments meeting set for Aug. 26 Print

The next meeting of the Haywood County Council of Governments will be at 6 p.m., Monday, August 26, 2013 in the DSS Training Room, located at 157 Paragon Parkway in Clyde.

The meeting will include a report from the UNC School of Government on the Development Finance Initiative (DFI), a project to evaluate and provide advice on the best options for redeveloping the Historic Haywood Hospital in Waynesville. The initiative is a joint effort approved in January 2013 by the Board of County Commissioners and funded by the County, Town of Waynesville, Haywood Advancement Foundation and the DFI at the School of Government.
