BOCC to hold special meeting on June 28 Print

The Haywood County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, June 28 in the Historic Courtroom of the Haywood County Courthouse, located at 215 North Main Street in Waynesville.

The purpose of the special meeting is to approve the bid award for the provision of In-Home Aide Level II Services under the Home and Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG), to approve the appropriation for election systems software maintenance for July, to appoint members to the Haywood County Public Library Board of Directors and the Haywood Community College Board of Trustees and to approve the requested 4th of July Fireworks Display for the Lake Junaluska Assembly.

Immediately preceding the meeting, the Haywood County Board of Commissioners will interview the applicants for the Library and Haywood Community College Boards in the Commissioners’ Conference Room beginning at 4:00 p.m.
