TAX CLERK II

 

General Description of Position

 

The purpose of this position is to appraise personal property for tax purposes.  The position is responsible for the collection of information, data entry, and providing information to the public.  The position works within a general outline of work to be performed and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision.

Minimum Training and Experience

Requires high school diploma, GED and formal training, special courses or self-education that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education or specialized advanced training.  Requires over one year and up to and including two years of computer skills.

 

Work Hours/Benefits

 

This is a regular full time position Monday through Friday.  All county benefits such as health, dental, drug, life, retirement, vacation and sick leave.

 

 

The pay grade assigned to this position is 59 with a salary range of $23,931 – 35,896.
